Party People is a workshop that invites participants into an embodied exploration of movement, play, with dance music and technology. We will discuss how principles in yoga and meditation can be applied on the dance floor, then participants will be led through a simple series of movement and breath exercises, and a short guided meditation. We will then turn up the music and apply the mindful awareness from our practice to a guided improvisation to the thumping sound track of house music and global bass. We will be experimenting with disrupting prediction in AI generated movement with video projection. We invite the AI to play instead of just predicting through interruption by participant movement and engagement. Open to everyone, no previous meditation experience, flexibility, or dance skills required!

MX Oops will deliver a live DJ set of sounds from their ongoing mixtape series, IN MY FEELINGS; an eclectic mix of house music and global bass inviting your body to dance. Eva Davidova will blend dancing avatars with surreal digital landscapes in video projection. UnFiNiShEd aNiMaL: Party People is an invitation for Summit participants to gather, connect, unwind, and turn up.
