From the Artist

This work has been commissioned by Metropolitan Group as part of a rapid testing initiative across multiple sectors to transform cultural narratives around wealth in the US. More context from them below:

Our research has indicated that dominant narratives about wealth (the shared stories that are most common across the U.S. population) uphold the status quo and stand in the way of generational changes. They reinforce harmful mindsets of deservingness, scarcity, and cynicism.

Our research also shows that people share values and themes about wealth that cross
political ideology, age, race and ethnicity, gender identity, and geography. So, the goal of this
narrative work is to engage the broad audience of people who are dissatisfied with the
status quo and open to different ways of thinking about wealth and economic inclusion.
